    Moonless Night Empty Moonless Night

The night sky is filled with clouds this night. There is no moonlight.
I look up to find that there is no rays of moon, nor stars to light up my night. But a glimmer, wait, yes a glimmer hope arises. It is the moon. It was hidden from me and until all went dark, and all went black, it was not until this moment that I realized how much i want the moon, and how I long for it to be there.

It appears from the sky through the clouds like a shiny coin, surrounded by a plate of ink.
It is my moon, and it sees me. Unfortunately, it does not love me, and is dead for me. I feel a tear trickle down my face, for I have found what I have always wanted, and have been too blind to see it. It is the moon, and for some reason, I've always wanted it. . . It is my heart's desire.

The moon is reluctant, but it stays anyways, hoping that I will love it back. It finally gave in, forgiving me for my ignorance, and I will forever love it.

I will never take it for granted, for it is there, lighting up my night. For there is in fact. . .moonlight.

    Enjoyed your imagery, Joe!

When I went to the beach a couple of weekends ago the moon was full, shining over the ocean every night. There is really something wistful about a full moon.
