I've started a new photography project

and I think it's going to be awesome! Then again, I am just a little bit insane and very biased. I'll be shooting little toy figures and creating a story line to go with them. You may have seen the fist image over on my facebook fan page. I hope to have a few more pictures done by the weekend.

LOL I don't think I've ever lost touch with my inner child, I think that's what keeping me young. Hey I didn't say looking young.

I hope to have things rolling along pretty quickly. The ideas are just pouring in. I'm even hoping to have trading card made up of the charecters with their bio on the back of the card.

oh dear, what have i done?

Don't worry. It's a lesson my wife has learned as well. When ever she takes me shopping I keep telling her "this would be cool to photograph" whenever she looks at stuff. For some strange reason, we don't buy much any more.

What's this? A hobby that saves you money?

and photograph it at the store so you don't have to buy it? I take mine to antique and vintage shops sometimes.

Nope, still hasn't saved me money, but it is interesting the looks the wife gives me when we go shopping. Our son just shakes his head as he knows what I'm going to say before I say it. lol

Donnalee, I must admit I never used to go antiquing with the wife, I just figured there was no reason to untill a fellow photographer told me about the possibilities for props. I go as often as my time allows now and I have picked up so pretty good props.

LOL, So you BUY the props, which makes sense, so you can use them at home. I don't buy them, I photograph them in the shops. BUT, I am so old I have plenty of "antiques" around the house to use for props. Which, tells me I should be making better use of them. STILL, don't have that light-box thing like I want it. Need to play with it some more.

Yup, buy them... that's why I don't save money. lol It would be nice to have space for everything. I really need to get to work on my basement.

LOL Where is your title and how long have you had it? Are you a member of Procrastinators International? Don't worry, not many people are, they keep putting it off. ;o)

Well, getting the basment clean and tidy now, and since the winter is coming, this migh be a good time to tackle it.
