Just Queried a Local Magazine

The are looking to spotlight writers and photographers in the area, so hopefully something may come of this.

Oh, the magazine is called Hagerstown Magazine and it's published by Ridgrunner Publishing. I'll post more info as soon as I get it.

Is the magazine and it does have some real nice photography in it. I must admit, when I get a magazine, it's mostly for the images. lol

I think I have been there. And is Charles Town where the horse race track is located? I have been to the track. My former husband and I used to vacation and take long weekends to WV pretty often. We rented a cabin at Watoga State park many times. His family was from the area. We also drove up from western NC, through KY, and WV to visit my relatives in PA and I think that may have been when we went through Hagerstown. Saw lots of beautiful places. You are in a photographer's wonderland. Would love to go again some day.

One of the reasons I like this are is it's diversity for photographic subjects. I really need to spend more time up in PA though. I rarely head up that way.

Wife has been trying to convince me to plan a trip to Scotland and Ireland next year. Not sure if I can get the funds for it though. I would love the trip though!

Now wouldn't it be fun to have a retreat and all of us go to Scotland. LOL, I have to scrimp just to the go to the beach so doubt I'd be going that far. No until I get that best seller written!

If you come over to Scotland I reckon i'll have to visit some of my family

Hey Admin dude! Heads up! Looks like I might be over in that neck of the woods in June of next year. A Scotland/Ireland tour to be exact. Should be good fun though I would love to tour the two countries on my own. I'll have to check out that option and see what the price would be.

You'll love it Jeff, dress for the wet and sunny, wind, fog and snow is more than possible too... and (just in case) don't forget insect repellent.
